Job Title: Business Development Representative

Job Description:

We’re looking for our all-star sales person to join Postgame as our first Sales Development Representative, joining our deep bench of experienced founders, investors and strategic advisors. This integral role will report directly to the CEO and COO and is responsible for developing sales leads via all funnels and channels, while simultaneously helping craft our go-to-market strategy.

As a key part of Postgame’s sales team, you will:
 

  • Hunt and aggressively prospect new business to generate new opportunities via outbound calls & emails, social media, networking and industry events

  • Understand accounts’ needs and master the business problems that Postgame solves for, the value Postgame provides, and why it is unique in the marketplace

  • Conduct high-level discovery conversations and educate prospects within target accounts

  • Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections

  • Manage, track, and report on all activities and results

  • Work collaboratively within the sales department to optimize lead generation processes and methods

  • Assist in the design and development of sales messaging to be utilized by the sales development team

  • Identify key accounts and to handle prospect objections

  • Consistently achieve monthly goals and quota of qualified prospect meetings
     

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 1+ years in sales and/or prospecting experience

  • Successful experience generating Enterprise B2B leads. Experience in influencer marketing or brand advertising is a plus

  • Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, strong writing skills

  • A self-starter with a track record of successful, credible achievements

  • Attention to detail, excellent organization and communication skills

  • Experience in a partially commission-based role

Job Title: Account Manager
 

Job Description:

This position serves as a middle man between our campaign management team and our sales manager to help ensure customer success.  Account Management is involved in every stage of our business process (sales >> strategy >> coordination >> execution >> reporting >> retention (sales)).   This position requires a unique individual who offers creative/strategic skills coupled with sales experience and an attention to detail.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Identify client needs, develop long-term work plans, determine solutions to client business challenges, and manage client contact.

  • Ability to determine the goals of a brand and articulate that into a campaign framework with targets / KPIs.

  • Reporting campaign results with ideas for revisions and campaign expansion.

  • Provide creative and strategic thinking and recommendations for prospective and current brand clients.

  • Provide campaign recap - including ROI and performance metrics to be presented to brands. Build detailed client-facing proposal and renewal decks providing strategic guidance and creative ideas in pre and post sales process.

  • Manage client expectations and demonstrate value in order to renew clients at a level greater than or equal to current contract.

  • Coordinate with Legal to create talent agreements and contracts.

  • Serve as a partner to the Postgame Campaign Management team to assist with the execution of campaigns (athlete selection, budgeting, etc) and ensure timely delivery of assets.

  • Help coordinate briefs between outlining campaign guidelines (e.g. talent, creative direction, scope of work, deliverables, etc).

  • Stay current on client & industry trends (advertising, content trends, college sports landscape, NIL, etc).

 

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 1-2 years agency (or in-house) experience with a demonstrated ability to develop creative, smart marketing strategy that meets client objectives.

  • Creative mindset, detail-oriented focus, and strategic acumen in your approach to building and growing long term business partnerships.

  • Highly competitive and motivated self-starter with the drive to succeed in a start-up environment without supervision.

  • Prior experience in managing day-to-day relationships with clients, agencies, and vendors.

  • Understanding of, and practical experience with brand positioning, marketing strategies specifically influencer, paid media, content production, event and experiential activations, and appearances.

  • Deep knowledge of the influencer marketing space and the ability to communicate that information to clients and to internal stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of key performance metrics for paid/earned/owned media with focus on analytics and optimization as well as leading vendor partners in the space.

  • Ability to communicate data and reports in a clear, cogent fashion.

  • An understanding of the business of sports, sports media and sports marketing.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with client management experience preferred.

  • Ability to think strategically and creatively, both independently and as a team.

  • Enthusiastic and flexible team-first player with a proactive approach.

  • Ability to travel when necessary to meet with clients and attend industry events

  • Must be proficient in Google Suite, such as Drive, Docs, Sheets and Slides, or PPT or Apple programs such as Keynote
