PHASE 1: RECRUITMENT
After discussing your campaign goals (including segmentation of athletes by sport, gender, location, follower size, etc...), we spend up to 3 days recruiting athletes to be considered for your campaign. We reach out directly to our 5,000+ members as well as a greater audience of 70,000 additional D1 collegiate athletes. We recruit through a combination of SMS, Email and Postgame App notifications.
PHASE 2: SELECTION
After recruitment has completed, we provide the brand with an extensive list of the athletes who have opted-in for consideration. The list is sorted by athlete value - determined in part by our own calculations and past history of having worked with the athlete(s).
During this phase we offer suggestions in order to help maximize the brands' budget.
PHASE 3: NEGOTIATION
After selections have been made, Postgame begins negotiating with each athlete and/or their agent. Our experience of working with thousands of college athletes gives us a strong sense of their worth - allowing us to expedite the process with a fair offer - and one that makes the best use of the brands budget.
PHASE 4: CONTRACT
After the offer has been accepted by the athlete, we generate a custom contract between us and the athlete that includes campaign expectations, payment, content rights, and more.
Each college expects the athlete to submit a contract to their respective compliance office prior to participating in a campaign and receiving payment.

Postgame Assists adidas with UW Women’s Soccer Blog Post
Leading NIL Agency Recruits, Directs and Edits in latest NIL Campaign
SARASOTA, Fla., November 14, 2024 – Postgame - the leading Name, Image and Likeness agency in college sports - recently recruited members of the University of Washington women’s soccer team for a new NIL campaign with adidas. Six Huskies joined adidas and Postgame for a content shoot that resulted in a video piece and blog post for the brand that highlights passing drills to improve a team’s performance on the pitch.
Washington student-athletes featured in this campaign included forwards Andrea Leyva and Radisson Banks, midfielders Tatum Thomason and Kelsey Branson, and defenders Riley Brown and Kolo Suliafu. The Huskies explained and demonstrated their top drills – for any position at any skill level – while providing insights into their team makeup and how to build comradery.
“I first want to say thank you to adidas for allowing me to have an amazing experience collaborating with such an iconic brand,” Branson said. “I was thrilled not only to be able to work with them, but my teammates as well in order to create this campaign. So much work was put in behind the scenes. I’m so excited for it to be out there and help anyone in the soccer community.”
Postgame – a long-standing NIL partner for adidas – contracted all of the Washington athletes, coordinated videographers and editors while helping to direct the shoot alongside adidas.
"Our relationship with adidas continues to evolve,” said Abby Boustead, Director of Operations for Postgame. “What started as an ambassador program focused on UGC content with thousands of college athletes has matured into multiple brand campaigns throughout the year with elevated style content and now full-on production type of filming. We appreciate adidas trusting us with this process and their continued partnership.”
The Huskies finished the regular season 10-6-3 and advanced to the semifinals of the Big Ten Tournament. They will next face 8th seeded Mountain West Tournament Champion Aggies of Utah State in the first round of the NCAA Tournament kicking off November 15 in Logan, Utah.
In three years of NIL, Postgame has powered campaigns for the likes of adidas, Allstate, Armani, CeraVe, Ticketmaster, Crocs, CVS, Gillette, HEYDUDE, Hollister, McDonald's and Urban Outfitters, among many others, garnering billions of social media impressions, clicks and sales while paying out more than 25,000 college athletes to date.
A who’s who of college athletes - everyone from last year’s Heisman Trophy winner Jayden Daniels of LSU to this year’s leading candidates Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter of Colorado plus Cam Ward of Miami - along with other household names like Paige Bueckers of UConn, Quinn Ewers and Sam Hurley of Texas, Jalen Milroe of Alabama, The Cavinder Twins of Miami, Milaysia Fuwiley of South Carolina, RJ Davis of North Carolina and Dylan Harper of Rutgers, among many other stars - have all worked with Postgame on some of the biggest deals in NIL history.
