TOPPS CAMPAIGN INSTRUCTIONS

Congratulations on being selected for this latest Postgame NIL opportunity with Topps - helping them promote their new line of Bowman U products. Revamped in the era of NIL, Topps has renewed their footprint in collegiate football and basketball cards - creating collectibles for dedicated fans of NCAA sports.

 

This campaign consists primarily of an unboxing and/or product review and showing excitement around specific card pulls of your favorite teammates or peers, combined with a Topps graphic post.

Once you have created your content, Upload all of your raw / high resolution files using the Upload Form (button) below for approval. Include all photos, videos and captions.  Do not post anything to social media until your content has been approved.

** IMPORTANT**
For ALL videos, please finish the video with YOU saying the following

"Celebrate your favorite college teams and players with Bowman U by Topps. Available now at hobby shops, retail and Topps.com."

  • 1 Instagram Reel Video (w/ cover photo) + Feed Share (REQUIRED)

  • 1 Instagram Feed Photo Carousel (REQUIRED)

  • 1 Instagram Story Post (w/ correct hashtags and tags)

  • 1 Twitter Post

  • 1 Tiktok Post​​

Style Guidelines:

  • Do not wear attire or have items from competitors (Panini, Upper Deck, Pokemon, etc.) 

  • Nothing inappropriate in the background or on clothing 

  • Treat and handle product with care - card collectors tend to comment on how people handle the cards in videos (i.e., do not throw or toss a card, try not to bend the card)

  • Hold cards up to the camera so the audience can clearly see what you pulled / ensure the audience can see you interacting with the cards on camera versus cards/packs out of sight 

  • Open the cards on camera - don’t pre-rip the packs

  • Refer to one-sheeter about trading card and the product to understand the product

Use of Music: 
For this campaign, if you wish to add music to your Reel you must use Copyright-Free music.  Copyright-Free music can be found as an option within Instagram and TikTok.  Additionally, Copyright-Free music can be downloaded from various websites.  Type 'Copyright-Free' into Google for additional options.

Camera Orientation:

All photos and videos must be shot vertically. 

Competing Products:

Make sure there are no competing products appearing in your video/photos.  Do your best to create content with full outfits.
