INSTRUCTIONS

Congratulations on being selected for the Hydro Flask 'Refill For Good' NIL Campaign with Postgame!

If you haven't already, you should be receiving your custom Hydro Flask bottle in the coming days - which is what you will feature in your content over the next 4 months. All content will need to be approved before posting. 

 

Upload all of your raw / high resolution content using the Form (button) below (photos, video and caption).  Or you can email files to your Postgame campaign manager jake@pstgm.com 

 

Make sure to read all of the campaign instructions/details below before creating your content.  We've highlighted some of the most important information in yellow. Note: Your requirements might be slightly different based our original communication through Instagram DM.  Follow those campaign requirements. 

About The Campaign:

Starting on July 6th, 2022, Hydro Flask will be launching their Refill For Good campaign and TikTok challenge to bring awareness around single use plastic elimination. The particular goal for this campaign is to eliminate the equivalency of 2 million plastic bottles across college campuses and universities in America (and potentially Canada). 

 

By partnering with the app TAP, Hydro Flask is making it easier for college students to find safe water refill locations, be healthier and have a little fun competition in the process! TAP will enable Hydro Flask to track the water station refills, thereby allowing us to track the equivalency of single-use plastic bottles eliminated. To help with this, we are looking for college athletes passionate about saving the environment to help amplify our challenge our campus and show us how you are #RefillForGood on campus this semester through TikTok and IG Reels content promoted on your personal accounts. 

 

This challenge will be a fun, friendly competition between colleges in the US, with the winning university receiving an epic prize from Hydro Flask in the end and ultimate bragging rights. 

Campaign Requirements

 

Total # of Posts: 4

  • 2 IG Reel (Vertical Video) - Include high quality cover photo

  • 1-2 IG Stories (Photo/Video)

  • 1 TikTok Feed (Video - if applicable)

    Note: If you do not have a large TikTok following, you will be expected to create a 2nd Reel (Video) post - see above.

Upload / Posting Timeline:
 

  • Post 1 (September):
    Instagram Reel Video - Announce the Hydro Flask Refill For Good Campus Challenge

     

  • Post 2 (October):
    TikTok (if applicable) - Refill Relay - Using TikTok’s stitch function, share videos receiving and passing water chugs in your Hydro Flask. Each refill with your bottle is shown off screen-left, then refilling your bottle out screen-right, taking a sip and passing it off so it looks like a continuous refilling (similar to trending bottle pass).

     

  • Post 2/3 (November):
    Instagram Stories - Give a tour of your favorite refill stations on campus.  Locate stations using the TAP

     

  • Post 4 (December): Instagram Reel Video - Activate the challenge during big game/match/competition days! Showcase how you tailgate and Refill For Good.

DO'S and DON'TS

  1. Be authentic!  Whatever and however you refill your water bottle - works for us! You are part of the key audience we are trying to connect with - so you know best was it relatable to students right now. 

  2. Do Not be too promotional! Our goal for this content is to recruit other college students to participate in the challenge and most importantly help eliminate plastic waste! Our product is secondary.  This should be fun. 

  3. Please only use Hydro Flask product when refilling.

  4. The video should not be shaky, so please ask a friend to help film if needed!

  5. Keep it light and fun.  It is okay to have 2-3 others in the film if you are refilling.

  6. Content should be taken vertically.

  7. Incorporate the “Refill for Good” concept within your content, and how you use Hydro Flask in your everyday life as an athlete and college student.

VIDEO SPECS & MANDATORIES

  1. Video files must be captured in vertical (9:16 or iPhone) format to be edited for TikTok and Instagram Reels

  2. Video length can be :15 - :45 seconds

  3. No music or captions needed.  We will be editing these video files internally to compile and make a highlight reel

  4. Please submit any horizontal and vertical photos you capture too that we can use as a thumbnail on our feeds. iPhone quality is okay.

** IMPORTANT ** All content is expected to remain on your feed(s) for a minimum of 90 days.  Failure to fulfill this obligation will result in a ban from all future Postgame deals - and the brand will be notified.
